Photographer

Why is this role needed in advertising and marketing?

-photographer's play a significant part in advertising and marketing because photographs are used within adverts. an example of this is billboards. 

-this is because they can tell a story. 

-nowadays, consumers are very much visual, and therefore only the images that stand out can capture their attention.

-it is important for the advertising photos to be high quality and eye-catching so that the brand message is delivers through consumers engaging with the advert.

-by using such high quality photos also displays a professional image to an audience. This is why businesses are willing to spend a lot of money on photography. 

Job roles

- setting up photographic equipment, whilst ensuring that the angles and lighting of the photo will be adequate.

- taking photographs of the product

- editing and retouching images

Salary

- full-time photographers can usually make anywhere between 20,000 and 75,000 every year, although some photographers can make an ever larger amount.

- the salary can vary depending on location, experience, and the employer.

- it can also vary if one decides to be a freelancer, in which they choose their own rates.

How to become a photographer

-although one can become a professional photographer without going to a formal education institute, it is known to add a lot of value to your career, skills, and experience as a professional photographer.

-there are also many online courses that one can complete to greaten and improve their skills, which can also build ones portfolio.

-potential clients will often base ones skills and talent based on ones portfolio.


Social media manager

Why is this job needed in advertising and marketing
- social media managers manage the online and social media presence of the brand
- marketers can engage with their target audience
- increases brand recognition: regular posting on social media platforms allows companies to interact with consumers.
- can keep track of any algorithm changes and new trends within the platform

Salary
- an assistant or junior social media manager their starting salary is likely to be between £19,000 and £25,000, usually depending on experience. 
-more experienced social media managers typically earn between £30,000 and £40,000. 
- however, with substantial experience your salary can increase to £60,000 or more.

How to become a social media manager
- establish an online presence
- a social media manager will not need specific qualifications, but it will be helpful for individuals to have a degree in media, management, and advertising. 
- it is significant that when one is going into social media manager to have previous work experience, as this will make them stand out to a brand.

This will allow audiences to clearly identify the brand, which will in turn increase brand awareness, and its popularity. The Billboard will emphasise the main image of the can of the drink, which includes the name of the drink, which is Phizzwizzard. This is important so that audiences can easily identify the can on shop shelves.
